Crystal Meadows Phase I has 14 rental assistance units through USDA Rural Development Multi-Family Housing, and 2 non rental assistance units for low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities. The HUD Phases are all rental-assistance units for low-income seniors. There are a total of 79 apartments on the property. The apartments offer 1 bedroom with wood floors and are equipped with stove and refrigerator. Laundry facilities are on-site located in each phase's commons space. All maintenance and utilities are provided.

Applicant must be 62 or older for all units or handicapped/disabled for USDA units.
Applicant gross income maximums: $39,950 for one person and $45,650 for 2 people. If gross income is over minimums, applicant/s qualify for the USDA unsubsidized apartments.
CHA maintains two waiting lists, USDA and HUD. If applicants are 62 or older you will be placed on both lists. Applicants under 62 with a disability qualify for the USDA waiting list. Upon turning 62, disabled applicants will be placed on the end of HUD property’s waiting list.
Campus Living:
Crystal Meadows residents are welcome to participate in our monthly campus events and offerings. The beautiful campus offers safe ADA walking options. Commons buildings provide different options from exercise equipment, a shared community library and a large community gather space for classes, celebrations and fun.
Valley Meals stocks our nonperishable food pantry weekly, as well as providing a parade of fresh produce bi-weekly for tenants to stock their pantry and refrigerator.
Thanks to the Western Colorado Community Foundation, we offer Monday matinees on our 74-inch screen, as well as special viewings of popular events like the Super Bowl and Kentucky Derby. Corn Hole and Croquette are available for outdoor play as well.
The Roaring Fork Valley Community Health Fund supports tenant medical needs, allows Crystal Meadows to offer senior exercise and health education classes, as well as podiatry care and end-of-life planning tools and guidance.
